Loose Hamiltonian cycles forced by large (k−2)(k-2)-degree - sharp version

We prove for all $k\geq 4$ and $1\leq\ell<k/2$ the sharp minimum $(k-2)$-degree bound for a $k$-uniform hypergraph $\mathcal H$ on $n$ vertices to contain a Hamiltonian $\ell$-cycle if $k-\ell$ divides $n$ and $n$ is sufficiently large. For graphs $G$ and $H$, let G {\displaystyle\smash{\begin{subarray}{c} \hbox{\tiny\rm rb} \\ \longrightarrow \\ \hbox{\tiny\rm p} \end{subarray}}}H denote the property that for every proper edge-colouring of $G$ there is a rainbow $H$ in $G$. It is known that, for every graph $H$, an asymptotic upper bound for the threshold function $p^{\rm rb}_H=p^{\rm rb}_H(n)$ of this property for the random graph $G(n,p)$ is $n^{-1/m^{(2)}(H)}$, where $m^{(2)}(H)$ denotes the so-called maximum $2$-density of $H$. Extending a result of Nenadov, Person, \v{S}kori\'c, and Steger [J. Combin. Theory Ser. B 124 (2017),1-38] we prove a matching lower bound for $p^{\rm rb}_{K_k}$ for $k\geq 5$. Constructing Institutional Measures: Indicators of Political and Property Rights in Mozambique, 1900-2005

In this paper we focus on the role of political and economic institutions in Mozambique’s development. We produce a set of institutional indicators for Mozambique for the period 1900 through to 2005. The first index tracks political freedoms and is unique in its duration and complexity. The second index is a measure of property rights for Mozambique and such a measure has not existed previously and certainly not for this length of time. The construction of these indices is a painstaking process through historical records but it provides us with a richness of institutional data previously not available. The new institutional indices will allow us to explore the role of the institutional environment in determining economic growth and development in Mozambique over time.Political Rights, Property Rights, Insitutional Indicators, Mozambique

Esta dissertação recai sobre o problema da deteção de objetos dentro do veículo. Comparando todos os algoritmos do estado da arte, abordagens baseadas em R-CNN destacam-se em termos de "Average Precision". Normalmente, os detectores "two-stage" têm taxas de precisão mais altas enquanto os detectores "one-stage" conseguem alcançar menores tempos de inferência. O Mask R-CNN foi escolhido graças aos altos valores de "Average Precision" obtidos sem comprometer o tempo de inferência, assim como fornecer a segmentação de instância dos objetos. Isto pode ser útil para abordagens como o "Multiview" no qual é importante estabelecer uma ligação entre os pontos da imagem adquirida por uma câmera com os pontos da imagem adquirida por outra câmera noutra posição. Foi necessário testar a adaptabilidade da Mask R-CNN para outros "datasets" alterando o "dataset" do COCO para ter um número de classes diferente do original. No fim, a rede treinada sobre o "dataset" da Bosch, foi a Faster R-CNN em que os pesos da Mask usados foram os pré-treinados sobre o COCO.This dissertation addresses the problem of object detection inside the vehicle. Comparing all the state-of-the-art algorithms, approaches based on R-CNN stand out in terms of Average Precision. Typically two-stage detectors have higher accuracy rates while one-stage detectors reaches lower inference times. Mask R-CNN was chosen thanks to the high values obtained for Average Precision without compromising inference times, as well as providing object instance segmentation. This may be useful for approaches such as Multiview in which it is important to match points of the image acquired from one camera with points of the image acquired by other camera in another position. It was necessary to test the adaptability of Mask R-CNN to other datasets by changing COCO dataset to have different number of classes. At the end, the trained network over Bosch dataset, was Faster R-CNN with Mask weights pre-trained over COCO

The legend of zelda : uma tradução comentada do jogo eletrônico para o português

Este trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo apresentar uma tradução comentada do jogo eletrônico The Legend of Zelda, lançado em 1986 em japonês. Com o passar dos anos, o jogo foi traduzido para diversas línguas, incluindo o inglês. Neste trabalho, propomos uma primeira tradução para o português brasileiro. Para isso, este estudo visa introduzir The Legend of Zelda ao público brasileiro através de uma abordagem tradutória funcionalista, combinando teorias de tradução com análise prática e contribuindo para o avanço teórico da tradução de jogos. Também serão discutidos alguns aspectos da tradução do jogo original em japonês para a língua inglesa. Os resultados indicam que a aplicação da abordagem funcionalista, estratégias adequadas de tradução, análise do texto-fonte e reflexão crítica contribuem para a elaboração de traduções precisas e adequadas ao público-alvo de jogos eletrônicos, aprofundando a compreensão da obra e promovendo sua clareza, coesão e coerência.This thesis aims to present a commented translation of the video game The Legend of Zelda, released in 1986 in Japanese. Over the years, the game has been translated into various languages, including English. In this work, we propose a first translation into Brazilian Portuguese. To do so, this study aims to introduce The Legend of Zelda to the Brazilian audience through a functionalist translation approach, combining translation theories with practical analysis and contributing to the theoretical advancement of video game translation. Some aspects of the original Japanese game's translation into English will also be discussed. The results indicate that the application of the functionalist approach, appropriate translation strategies, source text analysis, and critical reflection contribute to the elaboration of more accurate and appropriate translations for the target audience of video games, deepening the understanding of the work and promoting its clarity, cohesion, and coherence
